Alcohol sulfates, ethoxylates, and ethoxylates based on linear alcohol has shown to be readily biodegradable when subjected to this tests. A product which is readily biodegradable falls into the most biodegradable classification as defined by EPA.

is specially blended Passivator and Neutralizer, absolutely safe for after treatment of descaled metal parts. Descaled metal surfaces are sensitive to corrosion from the oxygen in the air and water It must therefore be given an anti-corrosive finish during the cleaning process as a form of passivation. In addition, left-over descaling chemicals on the metal surfaces or inside the systems may cause corrosion, specially so where mere flushing of fresh water may not remove entirely all descaling chemicals.

The active ingredients-sodium penthachlorophenate meets the requirements of a number of the Food Additive Regulations administered by the Food & Drug Administration, i.e. CFR 121.2505- Slimicides.
